Jack's fifth birthday went off Corona-style. He was really good about understanding that we couldn't have friends over for his birthday, and he was content with that. He knew he wanted an army/camo style birthday cake with trucks and tanks on it. He was specific that he wanted an Orange Creamsicle Cake as well. It was cute to have him so involved with what he wanted his creation to look like. Maga and Paga came over for a pizza dinner before opening up his presents while Grammy, Pa, and Aunt Emma FaceTimed him so they could part of the festivities as well. The cake and Rainbow Sherbet ice cream was a great capstone to the party.
Jack's actual birthday fell on a Sunday, and he was specific about his food preferences, wanting "chicken eggs" (fried eggs) for breakfast and chicken siu mai for lunch. After lunch the kids, Dad, and Maga took off for a camping trip in a Tesla that Dad rented. Jack thought he was pretty hot stuff getting to ride in it. It was a great way to celebrate his love of all things vehicle-related. Happy birthday Jack!
