This 4th of July we were a little up in the air about what our plans would be. Many activities were cancelled, so we had to make our own entertainment. Maga and Paga came over for a 4th of July themed barbecue, and it was good to get together with some family for the holiday!
We went bigger into fireworks than we have before, and even joined up with the Lees in Newark in the evening to set off some bigger (for us) fireworks in the streets. After those finished up we came home to go to bed, only for Dad to wake the kids up and take them around town to scope out the crazy light-night fireworks being set off everywhere. There were SO MANY fireworks this year, I'm guessing since people are feeling stir crazy and all the public firework events were cancelled. The kids were really excited about going around so late at night. It was an exciting 4th, even if was a different from how we usually celebrate.
