Immersive Van Gogh Art Exhibit

We ventured into the city on a Monday night to take in the new immersive Van Gogh art exhibit.  I wasn't sure how well the kids would like it since it's all done in a single room.  The art is projected on all sides of the room and subtly animated and set to music.  The entire video ran about 25 minutes long.  It was so impressive!  There was so much to take in and being able to art projected EVERYWHERE around us (even on ourselves and the floor!) was quite incredible.  The kids asked great questions and wanted to know more about Van Gogh's life.  It made for interesting conversation.  Afterwards we realized that we were super close to TWO amazing ice cream places, so we decided to get a little from both and have a taste test.  Smitten's has our favorite overall ice cream, but Salt & Straw put up a good fight.  We're looking forward to more San Francisco adventures as things open up over the coming months.
