This weekend we took a trip down to Monterey to visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium. They're finally open, but you have to make reservations pretty far in advance. I didn't know I'd be in an aircast, so the kids and Dad took turns wheeling Mom around the aquarium. We had multiple minor accidents (bumping into things, tripping/running over the kids) but it was overall a success. It was a fun experience to really get to really see the kids enjoy the aquarium and see the excitement as they went from exhibit to exhibit. We found a fantastic brunch place to visit afterward - we will definitely be back!
