It's been in the works for years, and it finally happened! Uncle Aaron was able to use his PG&E connections to rent out three cabins at a company-owned campsite at Lake Britton for an entire week! It was mighty dry (and so much dust as a result!), but the temperature was pretty tolerable for most of the week. We made good use of the campsite's pool and spent lots of time spending good quality unplugged time together. We spent a day on Lake Britton with all our water toys, trekked up to Lake Shasta Caverns to spend the day inside caves, and checked out nearby Burney Falls. The week always passes by too quickly and we are already in talks for what a possible 2022 family get together might look like!
