Jack's 3rd Birthday

Jack's 3rd birthday celebrations took up the better part of a week this year!  On his actual birthday (a Thursday), we went out for breakfast donuts, had a Chick-Fil-A date with our friends, the Lees, for lunch, play place time, and a birthday song over cookies, and went to Firehouse Subs for dinner (complete with a birthday brownie).  He was happy about getting to call the shots for the day, so of course we had to go to his happy place (Target) for some toy section browsing.

We had Jack's big birthday party with friends on Friday, and followed up with a Maga/Paga sleepover on Saturday night, and a family-only birthday celebrating on Sunday.  We had birthday hamburgers for dinner followed by lots of excited birthday present opening: Paw Patrol jammies from Grammy, a big rig with tools from Pa, a remote control police car from Hank, a Marshall dress-up costume from Lyla, a new Paw Patrol bike and helmet from Mom and Dad, a digger truck from Aunt Emma, and a car transporter and fireman dress-up costume from Maga and Paga.

We finished the evening with Paw Patrol cake (chocolate!) and a round of "Happy Birthday".  He sure is over the moon about his new toys and all the attention from the past week.  He's already been asking me when his next birthday is.  We have a looooong way to go dude.  Enjoy being three!
