The much anticipated first day of Kindergarten has finally happened! Hank has waited YEARS to go to Ardenwood Elementary with Lyla and all his dreams came through today. There's so much emotion that comes before school starts, but I think Hank's primary emotion was excitement. This year he is in PM Kindergarten with Mrs. Zelt. He was so well prepared that he grabbed one of his friend's hands and walked her right up to where they were supposed to go in (leaving me in the dust!). He got settled in his chair right away and got started on his desk work. When I went to pick him up he dubbed it a "really, really good day". I'm hoping we have many more of those days this year!
