This past weekend we took a family trip out to Pleasanton for the County Fair. We got in a good visit, complete with checking out copious amounts of animals, oodles of fun fair food, and the kids snuck in a few rides as well. Of course, we couldn't leave without checking out the sweet food I baked for some fair competitions this year! I ended up with a 3rd place for my zucchini walnut bread, a 3rd for my avocado cupcakes with lime buttercream frosting, and a 3rd place for my chocolate crackle cinnamon chili cookies. Not the best showing, but not too shabby for a first time either, right? We came, we saw, and we had a great time.
