This week we went out to Brentwood to pick peaches. It was well worth the trip! The peaches were so delicious (and cheap!), the weather was beautiful, and your couldn't beat the amazing colors at the orchard. Picking peaches proved to be a little easier than strawberry picking. Lyla loved going around the tree picking out the best peaches, and Hank had a blast wandering around, occasionally picking a peach here or there. After we weighed and paid for our haul, Lyla and Hank each got their own peach to sample. There was a lot more juice in those peaches than I anticipated (which is a good sign, right?), but they made for two satisfied customers. Now, what to do with 20+ pounds of peaches...
