Has it been another month already?! Things are starting to pick up the pace with all of Hank's new developments and milestones. This month Hank started REALLY crawling (up on his hands and knees), pulling up onto everything, and trying to climb. He is starting to clap his hands and wave at us, which is super cute. Being always on the go, Lyla's starting to become very aware that her brother wants to be at her side at all times - even when she doesn't want him to be. She loves when his face lights up after spotting her, but she's not loving him climbing all over her and messing up/taking whatever she's playing with. She's a patient one, but she's got her limits! He's been sleeping pretty great, although we suspect teething may be the cause of some shortened naps and nighttime wake-ups. We can't really complain, though, as he can get himself back to bed at night on his own - usually.
Hank is STILL spitting up and taking medication for it, but we think he may be starting to get over it - thinking and hoping! Hank is starting to have more temper tantrums, but I think this might be because he's more aware of us communicating things to him, and he's trying to communicate back to us. He seems to continue expanding his vocabulary, and he's just at the beginning stages of trying to repeat some of the sounds we make.
Hank loves table food and is already starting to eat what we eat. I'm a little worried that he's too young, but he doesn't choke, and when he does it's very minor. Fingers crossed that we'll be out of baby food in another month or two! He's also already in snacks between meals - after a week or two of a very irritable Hank during mealtime, I figured out perhaps he was overly hungry. We were right (if only I listened after the first temper tantrum!).
We're hoping the next month brings some teeth, more smiles, and an even more mobile and interactive Hank!
