We had a magical, relatively quiet, low-key Christmas this year. It was awesome. Christmas Eve we went over to Mick and Kathy's to spend some time with extended family. We came home right at bedtime so the kids could hang their new ornaments, put on their cozy new pajamas, sprinkle reindeer food on the lawn, set out cookies for Santa, and get ready for a long night's sleep.
The kids awoke to the toys they had been asking Santa for (LOL Bigger Surprise for Lyla, Jurassic Rex for Hank, and an electric tools and a work bench for Jack). After opening presents with Maga and Paga there and FaceTiming with Aunt Emma, Grammy, and Pa, we made our way over to Maga and Paga's for breakfast and opening more gifts. We spent the rest of the day back at our house, enjoying new presents and had Christmas dinner at our house (which was a true family effort!). We are so grateful for this family of ours, and it's always a treat to spend some quality time together enjoying one another (and our new toys!).
