Dad and Maga took Lyla, Hank, and Jack down to Santa Cruz to take a trip to the Redwoods at Henry Cowell State Park. Maga is an excellent guide! Two banana slugs were spotted as well. When they finished up they headed over to the tide pools at Natural Bridges State Beach. Intentions were good to stay dry (even rain boots were packed), but in the end almost everyone was soaked. The kids had a blast, and were super excited to fill Mom in on their adventures the second they got home.
