At the beginning of December, Mom and Martina took a trip up to Vancouver for the weekend. It was so much fun! We stayed in an amazing hotel with the most incredible views around. We ate A LOT and had poutine for the first time. We went to two different Christmas festivals, biked around Stanley Park, toured Granville Island, took a stroll through Gastown, did a simulated flight over Canada, and had a lot of relaxation time to just chat, unwind and be (relatively) carefree. I miss being able to see her as much as I'd like, but it feels so good to be able to pick up where we leave off and keep this friendship going strong almost 15 years in!
