Last weekend we went out to Missoula, Montana to spend some quality time with Aunt Shannon, Uncle Dylan, and Cousin Ruby. It's been a little over a year since the kids saw Ruby, and she's grown up a lot! The kids enjoyed spending time out in Nine Mile hiking, visiting the creek, and taking in a campfire. There were also good times had downtown in Missoula with a visit to the carousel, park adventures, lots of delicious food consumed, and much shopping at open-air markets. We had the great experience of being able to see Shannon's art displayed both in Missoula Tea Company and in her therapist's office. Saturday night Dustin and I joined Shannon and Dylan downtown to go to a Stephen Marley concert. It was a really fun and unique experience! The kids felt odd going home and leaving Maga behind to spend extra time with Ruby, but there were no tears shed (just lots of clarifying questions to ensure that Maga was coming back home at some point!). There was a lot of sleep that needed to be caught up on until we got back, but it was worth it!
