Jack: 10 Months

This month has flown by!  In this past month, school ended!  Our crazy whirlwind morning routine has turned into a lazy, relaxed one instead.  Too bad the sunshine these days is waking Jack up so early in the morning...  Jack cut his first tooth this past month, and it was a doozy!  He was so uncomfortable and irritable for almost a week!  We are curious if the nasty stomach bug that passed around our family affected Jack too while the tooth business was going, but it's hard to say for sure.  Jack is pulling himself up onto any piece of furniture he can find, and he can take steps with some assistance (reluctantly).  He very much prefers crawling around since he can get around so quickly that way.  Jack is a big ball of fun and he loves to giggle and interact with his family.  He says "lala" for Lyla along with "mama" and "dada" and "all done" (we think).

Jack also took his second plane ride out to visit his Aunt Shannon, Uncle Dylan, and Cousin Ruby in Montana.  The flight came in the middle of the teething debacle, so he wasn't the most pleasant dude during the trip (or a good sleeper), but we endured!

Jack is really embracing solid foods and with that, is so much better about mealtime.  He loves to be independent and feed himself, and he's doing a pretty good job with eating enough fruits and veggies.  We're a tad concerned he may not be getting enough iron, but hopefully that will be remedied with eating more meat!
