Yesterday we had the opportunity to drive down to Fresno to see our nephew, Max, be baptized. It's been too long since we've seen the Keough cousins, so Hank and Lyla were extra excited. Grammy, Pa, and Emma are in town visiting for the week as well, so we are one full crew all together! I can't get over how grown-up Max is looking these days, and it was so awesome to see him make the big decision to commit to be baptized and confirmed a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Aaron did a great job with the baptism and confirmation, and Max looked like he was more than ready for his big day.
It was a crazy whirlwind day, given that we drove up and back all in one day BUT we did manage to get in the baptism, swimming, two meals, and even got to watch Sadie's piano recital before calling it a day. Dustin and I were reflecting that the kids are at the ages that they are such great travelers, and we are bracing ourselves for the noise in our van to significantly increase once the baby comes. For now, we'll enjoy the (relatively) quiet peace when we travel.
