Lyla's Ballet Recital - Sleeping Beauty

Lyla recently had a ballet recital.  Her ballet studio performed two pieces, "Shall We Dance" and "Sleeping Beauty".  Lyla performed as a jewel in "Sleeping Beauty".  She was so cute!  She loved being involved in a big-time production, and she really enjoyed watching all the older ballerinas in action.  I was worried about her staying up late for several nights in a row, but she took it like a champ!  They rehearsed Thursday 5:30 - 8pm, Friday 5:30-8pm, and was at the theater on Saturday for last-minute rehearsal and two performances from 10am - 10:30pm.  Craziness!  Perhaps the craziest part of the weekend was the fact that I was out of town in Ohio.  This meant lots and lots of help from Lyla's Maga.  The performances went well, Lyla was on cloud nine, and now she's ready to get back into the studio for more dancing!
