Hank finally had his first bath a few weeks ago! We waited longer than we wanted to since his umbilical cord took over TWO WEEKS to come off! He was starting to really smell (partly because of the umbilical cord), so we were relieved when we could finally scrub him down. As with most babies, Hank hated the bathtub when he first got in. I can't blame him, all the water probably isn't too pleasant at first! Once I poured the warm water over him, he was a much happier camper. Unfortunately, our house is pretty cold due to some poor insulation issues, so I think he was just uncomfortable because of the cool breeze. We learned for the next time, though, to start running the space heater on full blast when he's getting washed up!
