We're quickly finding that time tends to pass much faster when you have more than one kid! I can't believe that Hank is already one month old. This month we've been working on getting Hank used to sleeping in his crib, as well as getting better at sleeping at night. We realize now how spoiled we were with Lyla sleeping a good 6 or 7 hour stretch at 3 weeks old! Hank has been rolling over like crazy from stomach to back, but I'm sure he will stop once he bulks up a little more and can't roll over just from the weight of his head dropping to one side. He's a strong little guy - possibly even stronger than Lyla was! At his 2 week checkup, he weighed in at 8 lbs. 7.4 oz. (44th percentile) and 23 inches long (100th percentile!). We're still trying to figure out who he looks like - we're hoping he takes after my mom's family so he can have some height! We joke that Hank is a "salty old man", because he gets so angry and fussy so quickly, although who can blame a kid for going "zero to zebra", as we call it, with his crying when he has such horrible gas! We love him so much, and we love the way Lyla interacts with him and dotes on him. Also, even though this technically happened one day after the one month mark, Hank smiled at me! We're looking forward to another month of accomplishments and developments, and many, many more smiles coming our way!
