Lyla has been waiting and hoping for an out of town tournament, and she finally got her wish! Her team played at the Las Vegas Mayor's Cup over Halloween weekend. They had to play up in a Premier/Gold division (they're currently playing in a bronze division during the season) and they held their own! They lost their first two games and tied their third one. I selfishly loved a mother/daughter getaway. We stayed at Circus Circus and tried to do as much sightseeing as possible while also attending to all our soccer responsibilities. We struck a good balance. We are already looking forward to another out of town tournament to attend!
