Can you believe Lyla has been on this earth an entire 10 years! In some ways it feels so quick and in other ways it feels like she's been around forever. We're still in the middle of a pandemic, so once again birthday celebrations needed to look different than they have in previous years. On Lyla's actual birthday, we kept things pretty low key with Lyla picking all the meals and treats for the day. The night before at her soccer practice we brought cupcakes to celebrate her birthday and a teammate's as well. On Sunday, we got down to celebrating with presents and cake! She enjoyed her pug-themed partyware, although we think it might have made Rey a little jealous. Lyla enjoyed opening her Harry Potter coding wand, crafting supplies, and lots of little surprises courtesy of Hairdorables, Pikmi Pops, and Lego Dots. Her cake was also pug-licious pink velvet. We love Lyla so much it's unreal. She's a born leader, and is such a light of Christ to everyone around her. Here's to the next 10 years being as amazing as the last 10 years.
