Hank is SEVEN! He celebrated in style with an extended birthday of sorts. He started the festivities on Wednesday with a laser tag party with some of his good buddies. They went through three rounds of tag, and they were sweaty, happy, and hungry till they got done. Hank capped off the night with pizza at Blaze Pizza and cookie dough cake (complete with edible cookie dough layers!).
Friday was Hank's actual birthday, and he picked a breakfast of sausage, scrambled eggs and hash browns. The boys loves his hash browns! After school we had a family party with hot dogs that we were able to roast over the outdoor fire pit and tater tots (the dinner equivalent of hash browns). In lieu of a birthday cake, Hank requested having mixed berry pie. I am hoping birthday pie catches on!
We love Hank so much and are so happy that we were able to celebrate him and the fun, magic and happiness he brought into our lives for the past seven years.
