This year our family costumes were Power Rangers! Of course, Hank led the charge on this one, and Lyla was a sweetheart and obliged. Jack is still a little too young to have an opinion, but he definitely got into being "Da Boo Power Wanger!" We hit the usual spots for Halloween, going to the Church Trunk or Treat first. The kids had fun with Maga. I was busy running around like a maniac tending to things that needed to be done! Maga did a great job decorating the cultural hall for dinner that night as well. The night before Halloween we (kind of) celebrated Dustin's birthday with dinner at "The Chick" and our first ever visit to the Ardenwood Elementary's School Night at Candle Lighter's Ghost House. We will definitely go back again next year! Finally, on the big night, we went to Prince of Peace to attend their Harvest Festival. Games were played, trunk or treating happened, and there was a little bit of hopping around in bounce houses. We finished the night with some trick-or-treating on our street with Dustin. The kids have had a great time playing in their costumes since Halloween, and I've been "rescued" many times by evil aliens as well! A big thank you to Grammy, who makes our amazing costumes year after year and always knocks it out of the park for us. We love you Grammy!
