We celebrated Easter a little early this year since we were going to be down in Mexico for the actual holiday. We started the weekend before with dressing up in our Easter finest for church followed by dying Easter eggs at Maga and Paga's house. Hank and Lyla experimented a little with the eggs this year, and only one of them cracked! Later that week on Good Friday the Easter Bunny came early to our house. He must have gotten Hank and Lyla's notes pleading for him to drop by before we left town. After they sifted through their baskets, we packed up to go to Nordvik Park for some play time with church friends along with an egg hunt. The kids were totally hopped up on sugar but luckily they crashed hard that night and got a good sleep before we started our vacation.
