Lyla's first day of school was about as low-key as they come. She was more than prepared when the big day arrived, and she was quick to wave me on as soon as she marched into Room 1 to meet Mrs. Christopherson (or"Mrs. C" as Lyla calls her). She said to me several times that she would be fine, so I quickly made my exit with Jack in tow. Upon pickup, Lyla declared it the "Best Day Ever" and said she had already made friends. I think she's going to be okay this year. :)
