Jack: 11 Months

Jack is a month away from the big ONE!  This month we went to Ohio to visit with Grammy, Pa, and Aunt Emma.  Jack finally got to meet his Pa!  He slept well (thank goodness), but there was some general crankiness associated with not being able to do what he wants and having to be held a lot (especially on the flights).  We survived!

We are pretty solidly on table food now.  Occasionally when we go out to eat we will sneak in a squeeze pouch here or there, but he much prefers to just eat what we're eating.  Jack is a pretty cool cat that he can manage to mash up as much food as he does with only one tooth!

We're still working on communicating with Jack, and this month brought on an increased understanding of what the word "no" means.  I hope he gets really good at responding to that word in particular!

We are excited for his big birthday coming up, but there's plenty going on this next month to keep him distracted.
