Hank's third birthday was a construction worker wannabe's dream! We had a few friends over for a night of celebrating Hank that included construction outfits for everyone, a construction-themed menu starring build-your-own hotdogs and hamburgers, a viewing of "Mighty Machines" over dinner, pin the hook on the crane, construction cone ring toss, some delicious bulldozed cake, lots of present opening, and some construction vehicles for all Hank's friends to take home. Hank was almost shaking with pure glee at most points of the night. He did NOT want his special party to be over, so aside from comforting a distraught three year old being slightly frustrating, I was proud that I could put on a party that warranted getting upset over upon its completion. We are so proud of Hank and the growing and learning he's done over the past year, and we're also thankful for friends and family who support him and root for him to succeed. Another great night and great party for the books!
