Mystery Spot

It's been on our to-do list for years to take a trip to the Mystery Spot, and we finally were able to check it off over Thanksgiving Break.  The spot in Santa Cruz has abnormal magnetic pulling in it, which causes objects to appear more slanted than they really are.  It's a little trippy for the eyes, but we all enjoyed getting to see some optical illusions. After our tour, we stopped past Hello Kitty Cafe (another spot I've been meaning to visit!), followed by lots of shopping at Valley Fair Mall, then taking in a  movie, and finally dinner while a major storm raged on outside.  It was a perfect, busy, very full day of family time!
