2nd grade was a great year for Lyla. She did her first ever research project and oral presentation on Ann Atwater for Black History month. She won several awards at the "Eight Great Traits" assemblies for Problem Solving, Responsibility, Respect for Others, and Citizenship. She won the Pi Day recitation contest for her classroom too! Her hard work paid off and she finished with a glowing report card from Mrs. Wayne.
Hank's experience with Ardenwood started off with a bang in PM Kindergarten with Mrs. Zelt this year. He really loved school, and he made quite a few friends. He won the "Great Leader" award at the end of the year. He met and/or exceeded all his benchmarks at the end of the year and was very proud to get a great report card.
Jack had a great first year of preschool with Miss Liz and Miss Dorothy, going Tuesday and Thursday mornings. He made friends, developed his creative side, learned more about how school works, and enjoyed some time forming his ever-growing personality. His teachers said he's right on track with his development and are excited to get him ready for elementary school in the upcoming preschool year!
