Lyla: 2017 Ardenwood Elementary Science Fair Winner

Lyla worked so hard this year on coming up with her very own science experiment.  She chose to base her experiment around Mentos and Diet Coke and if the temperature of the drink affected how high the reaction would be.  She put a lot of time and effort into completing the experiment, then double or triple that amount completing a log book of her findings.  Her experiment was the big blue ribbon winner for Ardenwood Elementary at the Kindergarten level.  She went on to showcase her work at the district level as well a few weeks after her school science fair.  I'm really happy that Lyla's hard work paid off, but even more proud of her ability to work so intensely on something for such a long period of time.  It was really important to her that she do the experiment and everything with it by herself, but Dad gave her some assistance when help was needed.  Congratulations Science Savant!
