Lyla's Dance Recital - The Nutcracker 2015

This year for the Nutcracker Lyla was cast as a Bon-Bon.  She was really excited to have a costume that looked like cotton candy, and I thought she made quite the adorable little clown.  She had a special little extra part as the "Naughty Bon-Bon", who refuses to go back into Mother Ginger's dress when the routine is over.  She shook her head a few times, then blew kisses to the crowd and ran off stage.  She did a great job, but more importantly, she KNEW she did a great job.  I love how her confidence and self-esteem grows through these experiences.  Until next year Nutcracker...
