Hank's First Attempt at Solids

We had our first attempt at solids today with Hank.  He's officially 5 months now, and the doctor and his GI specialist thought it might be a good idea to start introducing him to at least rice cereal since he still has issues with his reflux AND he's drinking over 40 ounces of formula per day.

It didn't go nearly as smoothly as Lyla's first attempt, but she was a full month older when we started her.  I'm not sure he's fully ready, but we'll keep trying!  He didn't seem to really love it, but he didn't hate it either, so that's a good sign.  Here's to easier feedings and the end of the tongue-thrust reflex in the near future!
