Aquarium Trip

Yesterday Dustin and I decided to take Lyla on her first little kid adventure here in Connecticut. Sure she's been cross-country and back, conquered NYC several times, BUT we haven't done any cutesy outings locally as a family beyond going outside to stroll Lyla around a park. So, off we went to the Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk - a smaller aquarium that focuses on animal life that lives in the Long Island Sound (and, oddly enough, meerkats). The perfect size place for Lyla! She liked the fish, seals, sharks, otters, and frogs okay, but she mainly liked to just people-watch. That is, until she saw this gigantic turtle. The turtle seemed to love Lyla, passing by her again and again, and the turtle sure grabbed Lyla's attention in return. Here are some pics of our adventure!
