We took advantage of the fact that the competition was at the beach and gave Lyla her very first experience with the ocean. She loved it! She started off walking up and down the boardwalk, then got REALLY excited when she hit the sand (surprisingly, little to no sand ended up in her mouth!), and the joy peaked when Dustin let her dip her feet in the water. She was really sad to leave, but we are sure we'll be back to the beach soon now that we know Lyla may in fact love being a beach bum!
